Description

Despite only starting cycling three years ago to commute to work, Meg has campaigned tirelessly for better cycling in Belfast, and set up Northern Ireland’s first bike bus to highlight the need for safe cycling infrastructure near schools.

“I have always wanted to cycle, but there seemed to be so many barriers. Not only did I instantly enjoy the experience, but I was shocked by the lack of safe cycling infrastructure. We set up the North Belfast Cycle Campaign to advocate for better cycling infrastructure in our local area, as well as the Belfast Cycle Campaign to advocate on a city-wide basis.”
